Tiny haul..♥

So I went to town again, and bought a couple of cheap items, just to build up my wardrobe as I had a massssive wardrobe clear out and barely had anything left, hehe.

The first thing I got from Primark were these Jeggings, which are only £8, that's amazing! Ive needed some new jeggings for agessss, as my other ones from Newlook have a whole in them, from when I fell over-_- haha. Sorry I didn't take a picture of them full, but they're basically just normal, lightwash jeggings. They also have really pretty detailing on the pockets.

The next thing I got was this really cute charm necklace, which was only £1.50 from Primark! But I mean, from Primark it wasn't exactly going to be expencive was it.. :) It's so sweet, it has a gold chain with a lovely bird charm.

And the last thing I bought was from H&M, and it's this cute top, with a ditsy flower pattern all over it and a big 'Peace' sign. I love it, I just think it's just really cute and casual. This was around £8.99.

The pattern up close, sorry it's blury!

So that's it, for the tiniest haul ever.. hehe. Thankyou for reading,

Outfit and makeup of the day- shopping♥

♥ This is my outfit and makeup for the day (wednesday), i was just having a look around town and i bought a few bits which i'll show in a little haul :).

♥ This is my outfit, the shorts are the same ones which I put in my last post. I wore a Navy blue and white stripey jumper from h&m, high-wasited shorts from Newlook, a long necklace, a cardigan from h&m, and Blue flowery pumps also from Newlook, which i bought a couple/few months ago.

♥ And this is the makeup. I wore the Maybelline dream creamy foundation, Collection 2000 concealer, Rimmel Mousse eye shadow in 'Sassy' with mac 'Sable' in crease, and MUA eyeshadow in 'Shade 1' in inner corner. The Maybelline felt tip eyeliner across upper lash line with a tiny flick, and Collection 2000's big fake lash mascara. No blush but mac's 'Lovelorn' lipstick on my lips, and after I took the pictures I applied the L'Oreal Glam shine Reflexion lipgloss, in Watermelon.

♥ And that's it, I will post the haul tomorrow :). Thankyou for reading,
Abbie

Summer haul

♥ So I went into town the other day and brought a few summery bits of clothing, otherwise i'll be living in jeans for summer :). Everything I bought was from Newlook, as i found a lovely 20% off everything voucher in Newlook for online and in-store. There is also another thing which I got when I went to Bournemouth, a couple of days after.

♥ The first thing I got was this lovely, floraly summer dress, which was around £15-16, and i love it- it's so pretty! It looks a kind of weird shape in the pictures, but in my opninion it looks a lot better on! haha. It has a pretty bow at the back, which creates a bit more shape to it :) It has a gorgeous ditsy print all over it.

Front
Back
♥ The next thing I got were these high-waisted, denim shorts. These were originally around £21, but as you can see, a button was missing and these were the only ones in my size and we'd have to replace all the buttons really, so my mum got them down to £16, hehe.

♥ I got this necklace, also from Newlook, and it was £5.99. It's gold and has bunches of leaves and pearls all over it, very pretty! Sorry the picture doesn't show it too well.

♥ And that's it for that day! Then I went to Bournemouth and went to mac.. and got this amazing lipstick, in 'Lovelorn' (a lustre) it is super pretty! It's basically a blue-toned pink, but it's not too bright or in your face, just perfect hehe :). It was £13.50, just like any other mac lipstick.

♥ So that's it. I have another haul coming up soon, probably in a couple of days time :). Everything from Newlook was meant to add up to about £42, but because of the discount on the shorts and the voucher, it came to £28.40, i think, Smart shopper right here! And including the mac lipstick it adds to nearly £42 again, not so smart.. ;) hehe.

New house, new room, best friend, fake tan♥

♥ Today i woke up very early for me, and for a saturday! About 8:15 :) Anyway i'm just thinking how much i'm gonna miss my best friend Shannon, because she's going to Paris today for 4 days and i know that's not long but we literally talk every single day (without fail ;) and it's really expencive abroad so.. :/ yaaa, but we're hopefully meeting up again in this half term.

♥ Today i'm going to be looking around a house with my mum, as we may be moving soon. :) That's at 12:30 so i have a long time, i only need to shower and get ready. I'm hoping this house will be good!

♥ Today or tomorrow i'm hoooping i can get to town, as i found a 20% discount voucher for anything in newloook which can be spent online or in-store, and it ends tomorrow so i want to get a few things (for summer!). I really need summer clothes, i'm still in jeans and it's too hot ;) The weather is absolutely gorgeous here in England now! Like yesterday, when i was coming back from school i was like sweating! That sounds weird, but it was soo hot.

♥ I am just sitting here on my laptop and watching the music channel, and Black and Yellow just came on- love.this.song. Yeah ahaa you know what it is ;) I have also been loving Bruno Mars, since my mum got his cd and it's been playing non-stop! I absolutely love runaway baby, talking to the moon, and marry me. Ahh, the cd's so summery aswell!- the songs are really upbeat and fun(: I'm also loving Katy Perry's new song e.t, but i pretty much love every one of her songs. :)

Yesterday, we ended school at 12:30 so when i got back i decided to have a shower (and exfoliate), moisturise, put a load of fake tan on (st Moriz- love!) and give myself a little pedicure!;) I'm just about to have a shower now, so the excess fake tan and smell will go, and i'll be left with a nice tan! :) I'm soo in the mood for summer!

Also!, in the Easter holidays i'm hopefully going to get my bedroom re-decorated! Woo, i'm not sure exactly when it's going to be done but i'll definately do a blog post on it with pictures! :)

I basically just felt like rambling on about things today, sorry about that, hehe.

beauty&fashion favourites.. march

I'm writing this on the last day of March, and this has been an okaaay month actually, the weather was lovely.. for about a week, hehe. I'm just waiting for it to come back.. :) Anyway these are a few (mainly beauty related) things that i havn't stopped using!

A lottt in this past month i have been applying this gorgeous nail polish- which is the Avon nailwear pro in 'Viva Pink'. It is amazing. It's the perfect bright pink colour, and looks really nice on my skin tone, which usually bright pinks don't. It's actually my mums and she loves it too but... i think i may steal it, hehe- well i already have.

The John Frieda frizz-ease hair serum (normal formula), this has been great for the last couple of months where there's been a bit of fog and dampness in the air. It just keeps your hair smooth and sleek all day long without frizz.

I love my qvs duo-fibre stippling brush, which i got ageess ago but i STILL love it. I use it for my foundation and it's sooo much better and easier for me than using the normal foundation brush, which now i find leaves streaks and lines and takes a lot more time to apply- this just creates a flawless and even effect, I got it from Superdrug, and highhhly recommend it, it wasn't even very expencive!

And the last thing, and DEFINATELY my favourite at the moment is my mac select moisturecover concealer. It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g for undereyes, which is all i really use concealer for. I occasionally dot some around my nose area and any other blemishes and it works great for that too. I adore this, it's a biiiit pricey for what i'd usually pay for a concealer but i am definately going straight back and re-purchasing when it runs out. :)

Well that's it for my 'favourites of the month', there wasn't actually very much, but i suppose i havnt been loving a lot this month. Thanks for reading!

sunshine makes everything better ♥

it's sunny! woooop. It feels like forever that we've been waiting for this sun, and this week just gone has been beautiful, i'm hoping for the same this week. Everything about the sun makes things better in life to be honest- no more getting wet on the way to school, brighter evenings, lips less dry- able to wear lipstick again!;), better days out, summer clothes- everything! And hopefully this summer will be a good one too, well that's optimistic thinking! ;)

Hmm.. so this week i have to read this dull book for an english assessment by friday, learn my German speaking assessment, revise for Science and Maths tests this week, and perform this stupid play in drama-_- Anything else they wanna add to my exciting week!? Plus, i feel like i'm coming down this a cold, so i've been drinking vitamin C tablets everyday- i'm determined not to get one! I'm also thinking of completely clearing out my wardrobe to ditch and sell old clothes. I want to get this week out the way, ready for next weekend:) I don't have any definite plans at the moment, but me and a friend are planning on going to the cinema and i think i'm seeing my nan aswell, so that will be nice.

Bit of a life-story up there^.

Dinner outfit ♥

so I went out for lunch/dinner with my friend the other day, to the harvester and it was gorrrgeous!;) I had the spicy chicken breast with chips, corn-on-the-cob and piri piri sauce, a re-fillable salad bowl, and a humongous 'honeycomb explosion'. At the end we were so full up we could have burst, and we had to walk back-_- hehe, but it was lush.

And on to the point of this blog post, this is what i wore..

♥ I dont know why the pictures are really blury! But nevermind, that's what i wore- a floral dress/top, with thick grey woolly tights, brown boots, a white scarf and i also wore a cardigan on top. With my hair in a messy, high bun.

I can't remember the exact makeup i wore, but pretty much.. A light, shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid, browbone and inner-corner, with a darker shadow in the crease (mac- sable), a thin line of liquid liner and mascara. I would have worn the no7 tinted moisturiser in medium, mac studio-fix concealer under eyes, maybelline powder and mac springsheen blush.

That's it, it was a really good day. After we walked back to my friends house and took her brother to prom, and watched everyone arrive. I ended up sleeping round hers then the next day we went shopping and to ikea. :)

A haul nearly not worth doing..

i went into town yesterday with my dad, at around 5:15, and the shops shut at 5:30, hence the lack of items ;). We needed to get something quickly, but i obviously had to have a tiny look round a shop or two, and got a couple of things which i really didn't need to do a blog post on, but i'm going to anyway. <3

♥ i found this gorgeous bracelet, which i've actually had my eye on for quite some time, and it was reduced to half price. It was originally £7.50, which to me is a tiiiny bit pricey just for a bracelet, but was reduced down to £3.75 - Baaargain. It's from Topshop, and has delicate, baby pink beads and a rose, with a gold petal.

♥ i next got the lovely Natural collection 'Apple Blossom'. Which i have also wanted for a very long time. I'm not going to insert a picture, as i'm sure you've seen it before. It's basically, a pretty light nude lipstick. This was £1.99, which i must say is ah-maazing, considering it's gorgeous and good quality.

So yes, that's it i'm afraid. Really wasn't very exciting but nevermiind, hehe. The total price came to £5.74 - woaahh, splash out! Well I'm happy with what i got on my little 15 minute shopping trip ;).

Blossom on the trees& not having a cold.

Recently i've been loving a lot of (the small) things in life, and thought i'd share...

-Quality time with friends& eating my heart out..

-Not having a cold. I always have a cold.

-The sunshine finally coming out, and the blossom on the trees.

-Designing my bedroooom.

-Making cakes& biscuits...

-Waterloo road& Come dine with me- sad, i know.

-J-J-J-J-Jessie J.

- I love this -->

Hmm.. so, i've had a pretty boring week tbh, and probably a boring weekend too but i dont caaare at least i get a lie-in. ;)  It's now saturday morning at 12 o'clock, and i should get dressed in a minute.. But i'm writing this, so naa not atm ;)  It's really sad news about Japan, and now Thailand aswell, so if you can it would be amazing to donate some money, and at least think about them :'(. I did my german writing gcse the other day and got a B so i'm ok with that, i got an A in my last writing so i'm not too bothered. Now we've started the coursework for speaking- i hate speaking tests, so much work! I am reeally looking forward to the May holidays, as me and my best friend everrrrr Shannon are having a massive shopping spree in Birmingham, we need to save, we're aiming for over £100, at the moment i have around £10. hehe. Anyway i better get washed and dressed, i may be going to town or cinema with a friend later but we'll have to wait and seeee.

13 Personal questions tag :)

Hello! I'm going to be answering the 13 personal questions, which is a tag that's been going around youtube recently. So here are the questions.. :)

1. What do you order at Starbucks?
I order the Coffee Frappacino mostly all year round but if it's really cold then a Caramel Mocha Latte, yum;)

2. What's one thing in your closet that you cannot live without?
Cardigans! I wear cardigans with eveeerything!

3. What's one thing that most people probably wouldn't know about you?
Umm, hard one.. I don't really know! Either that I have something called HyperMobility (because it doesnt make me look any different! haha) and it's a condition where you are basically reeally bendy and your joins (say your elbows) can bend quite a bit further than they should, and because of that my knee has dislocated a few times and i have to go to hospital and it's the most painful thing:( Or... that i have a Great-Grandad who is about 104/105 now and lives in Australia LOL ;)

4. Name one thing that you want to do before you die
Umm.. i reaally dont know! I don't like plan masssively ahead (even though i've kinda planned out my future LOL) but never really thought about it.. Probably have a baby :):):) haha becausee i obviously want a baby when i'm older anyway, but if you think about it, it's quite a big achievement!- like carrying and raising a human being, and it's a life commitment so yaa :))

5. What's one food that you cannot live without?
Hmm.. I love food. Like I can eat anything, i'm the most un-fussy person ever haha! But probaaaably pasta because there's so many different types and you can have anything with it really, e.g. Spagghetti, chicken pasta, spicy pasta, creamy pastaaa etc;)

6. What quote/phrase do you live your life by?
Well i dont really have a specific 'quote' I just live by thinking just do what you want to do in life and don't let anyone stop you. Like, if you want to do something then go for it! It doesn't matter what other people say, because you're doing it for you and not them and you don't live to impress others.

7. What do you like and dislike about the YT community?
I like that i think it's amazing how anyone in the world can do it, and it doesnt matter who you are! The beauty YT community is like a little (well biggg) family, and anyone can join. I don't like the whole fakeness that some gurus develop, as in saying how good a product is when theyre being sponsored to say it, and you kind of lose trust in that person. But a lot of people dont do that, there's just a few! haha.

8. What's your number one most listened to song on iTunes?
Urm let me check :) 'Blah blah blah' by Kesha hahaa, i havnt gone on iTunes for so long now Limewires gone, so that was ageess ago!

9. What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
I dont really know, like most people out there haha. I'd say just whatever I feel like that day! Kind of a mix of casual, simple and girly, but I do love to dress up on nights out of course! haha.

10. Favorite number
Three! Always has been and probably always will be. :)

11. Two hobbies
Urmm, dancing and .. i dont know another one really, makeup i suppose! I love playing around with it and making up different looks etc.

12. Two pet peeves
Hmmmmm.. i have a lot of pet peeves! And i mean A lotttt! I think i might do a whole blog on them at some point ;) But probably when you're sitting next to/near someone and they keep making continuous irritating noises! Like sniffing, or chewing really loudly, or hitting their foot against a table LOL. That just annoys me, and also when you're talking to someone and you know they're not listening! Then they ask you a question about it later in the day or something and you're like 'I told you earlier!' Lolll;)

13. Guilty Pleasure
Umm, watching youtube videos i think! I'm always just sitting there at night watching YT vids and I look at the time and it's like 1 in the morning!-_- So addictive! Haha!
Ok that was all the questions, I tag you if you want to do it!

My daily makeup routine..

Hello! So this is going to be a loong blog post ;) This is my makeup routine which i've been wearing everyday recently, it's pretty much what i wear to school but without the eyeshadows, eyeliner and overall less face makeup.

1. I put a light amount of the Maybelline Pure Mineral foundation all over my face with a stippling brush.

2. Then I dotted a very small amount of the mac moisturecover concealer
in nc20 under my eyes and around my nose, and gently patted it with my ring finger. (Sorry I accidently deleted the picture of where i put it!)

3. Then apply the Maybelline Dream Matte powder mostly on my t-zone and jaw area, with a (huge) Barbara Daley blush brush, which is actually better for powder.

4. Then use the Barbara Daley eye primer all over the lid and brow-bone. Then the natural collection eyeshadow in Willow all over the lid, browbone, and inner-corner as a highlight. Then blended mac Sable eyeshadow in the crease. I used the Gosh flat shader brush, and e.l.f blending brush. I then applied a thin line of the Rimmel felt-tip liner on the upper lash-line.

5. I curled my eyelashes, and applied One light coat of Natural Collection's LashCurl mascara in black.
(In the second picture, the white mark on my face was reflecting off the eyelash curlers by the way, haha!)

6. Lastly, I sheerly applied Mac blush in Springsheen on the apples of my cheeks, with the e.l.f blusher brush.

The end result! Haha ;) I hope you liked it!

Makeup brushes!

Ok so I was just thinking about how amazing some makeup brushes are for such little price! You really don't need to spend loads of money on mac brushes when there are really good and affordable ones out there! A few of my favourite brands are..

e.l.f- these are so amazingly soft and barely ever shed, especially the studio line ones! I have the eye shading brush, the eye blending brush, the concealer brush and the blush brush and would recommend all of them. :)

This is the blush brush, my favourite and was only £3.50 on the eyeslipsface wesbite. :)

Another brand is eco-tools, these brushes are slightly more expencive, but still really affordable. I have a pack, which included an angled eyeliner brush, concealer, eyeshadow, blush and a brow/lash comb. The blush brush is incredibly soft!

Again the blush brush, it is such good quality! This retails at £8.16 at Boots.

And my last (but not least;) favourite brush brand is Gosh, these are again a bit more expencive but still cheap enough for someone like me to afford. I only have 1 brush which is the flat eye shader, but it is amazing and incredibly soft and doesn't shed much either. I am definately planning on getting more of these - i want the kabuki brush next :) it's £9.

This is the flat eye shader, it's amazing! And i love the look of these brushes, they are just black and very sleek, they have 'GOSH PROFESSIONAL ART' written down the side of the handles. This was £6.99 from Superdrug.

Thankyou for reading, just a little review on my favourite makeup brushes and brands.

Small Mac haul- from Harrods :))

Hello! So today I went to Harrods and was planning on not buying any makeup, but in the end managed to get 2 mac things.. oh well! I love them haha..
The first thing is the Sheertone shimmer blush in Springsheen, this is so gorgeous! And once again suits my skin tone reaally nicely- so should suit other people with quite fair skin. The description on the wesbite says it's a light Peach with Gold shimmer. It is very pretty :) The shimmer runnning through it is gold so it's nice and flattering and suits warm skin tones, but it's no way glittery or full-on shimmery, just a slight shimmer!- I've been kind of put of by shimmery blushes but it's lovely! And also gives a nice highlight as well as blush :) -£17.00- a liiittle bit pricey, but gorgous!

The second (and last!) thing is the Mac Select Moisturecover concealer,
in Nc20- i've never had a concealer/foundation colour suit me so well! :))
I couldn't take a picture with my camera which wasn't much different to the one on the website to be honest haha! This is the best concealer (for under-eyes, which is all i use concealer for) that i've ever tried, it's really creamy and moisturising and you need the smallest amount to cover dark under-eye bags. -£13.50

That was it! I'm so happy with everything, not dissapointed in any of it- which is nice to know that it wasn't a waste of money!;) haha. The total amount came to £30.50.
I hope you enjoyed this little haul :))

What i bought today..

Hello! I know i havn't done a blog in ages but I've given it a bit of a makeover and i will blog more often! hehe :) Anyways, so today I went shopping, i bought barely anything but I'm saving so I couldn't exactly spend a lot haha :P

So mostly everything is from h&m,
the first thing i got was this skirt from h&m,
and it was £9.99.

(Sorry about the fluff on it, i put it on my rug! and about the black top with a black skirt! i was already wearing that top haha)

The next things are these random grips/clips also from h&m, just because i need some and they alwaays go missing! They were also from h&m and were about £1.50.

The next thing is this Spring Blossom body splash, £1.50- smells amazing!

And the last thing is from Lush, and it's the 'It's raining men' shower gel, this smells absolutely amazing and exactly like the 'Honey I washed the kids soap'- my favourite:) Thats why i got it, haha. There is a choice of 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml(i think!). This is the 250ml and is really big! It will last me ages haha :) It was £7.85. I put it next to a 100ml 'yummy yummy yummy' just to show you the size comparison. :)

Ok that was it, i know it was small! The total of that came to £20.84 to be precise! lmao;) I hope you liked this little haul.

Animal testing

Hmm so i hate animal testing, and i was just looking on a website that lists all brands that still test on animals, the list was updated on 29th Dec 2010 by the way, so very recently! And its really annoying to know that some brands that i use still test on animals. So i picked out a few that i know most of and were mainly cosmetic related:
Dove
Elizabeth Arden
Garnier
Maybelline
Maxfactor
L'oreal USA
Lancome
Johnstons
Sally Hansen
Glade

It's really annoying that Maybelline tests on animals, they were my fave face makeup brand but when I've used up all my Maybelline products I'm just going to find other foundations and things i like- easy enough:)
I like maxFactor to!

On the same website it has a chart of the percentages of different animals companies test on and they include Mice, Guinee Pigs, Rabbits, Amphibians and fish, Non-human primates (monkeys), Birds, Farm animals and more!
So yeah.. it's really cruel :(
Bit of a random post but ya no, i've just been thinking about it recently :)
